When you have יהוה Sovereignty, you are actually not free to rule yourself — you are stating יהוה rules over you. יהוה is the King of all kings and the true Sovereign — "his kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and his dominion is from generation to generation." (Daniel 4:3) Your sovereignty is from יהוה and he set up mercy for his servants from the curse of Deuteronomy 28. As servants of יהוה we are granted certain sovereignty rights — even in captivity!
